Negative Thoughts Can Be Controlled but Generalized Anxiety Disorder Needs Expert Attention

Are you a person who worries a lot? Do you always find something to worry about? When someone doesn’t arrive in time, do you anticipate a mishap? When everything is going as usual you still doubt and think that the good days will not continue for long.

Your apprehensions go to any extent. You get anxious for irrelevant reasons.

You have to realize the graveness of the situation. This doesn’t happen to normal human beings.

With a little effort, you can check the problem:

  1. At first, accept this as a problem and understand that you can solve it with a little effort.
  2. Say to yourself that –
    • My worries are footless – stupid.
    • I will not be able to change anything worrying.
    • If something has to happen, I will face it then. Now, I have more important jobs to complete.
  3. Be at present, Practice mindfulness. We worry when our thoughts shift to the future.
  4. Do your day-to-day jobs with confidence.
  5. Don’t be afraid of taking on new responsibilities or challenges.
  6. Deliver jobs to others and trust they can complete them.

If the problem persists even after your repeated efforts, maybe, you are suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

Better consult a clinical psychologist.
